Relationship Therapy for Individuals and Couples

It’s easy to fall in love. But staying in a meaningful committed relationship requires emotional skills most of us were never taught. You can learn these skills.
Relationships form the bedrock of who we are because human beings are hard-wired for connection. However, relationships take work. Maintaining love, intimacy and connection is an ongoing project and no couple is immune to difficulties. Love and good intentions alone are not enough to bind a relationship. It’s just the beginning.
One of the most difficult endeavors we can undertake is renegotiating our intimate relationships. It involves seeing conflict and challenges as invitations to change and evolve. It requires the curiosity and courage to explore the implicit assumptions we have about ourselves, each other and our relationship. And when we make them explicit, we must decide if those initial assumptions still serve the relationship or whether they cause harm.
Contrary to what it may feel like, struggling with relationships doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with us. It just means we haven’t learned the skills we need to build fulfilling, secure relationships — yet.
When I work with clients in couples therapy, marriage counseling, and individual therapy, my mission is to give you practical tools and tangible insights for repairing and rebuilding resilient relationships. We create a map together to chart a path forward. You’ll learn the keys that open the door to a sense of confidence, restored intimacy and emotional security in your relationships.
