Shira is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (#47485) with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. A graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute, she performed her clinical training at the Women’s Clinic and Family Counseling Center and at the Antioch University Counseling Center. She is currently accepting new clients at the WCFC as a senior intern under the supervision of Mary Jane Armstrong (LMFT #32375).
Having worked with a wide and complex variety of issues, Shira is deeply committed to helping individuals discover news ways to work through unyielding problems. Shira is passionate about helping clients unlock the potential for individuation and lasting transformation. In addition to individual and couples therapy, Shira specializes in working with creatives and artists in transition. Having many years of experience as a songwriter and musician, Shira is familiar with the creative process and the challenges that attend the creative life.
